Description:
The ultra-precision single-point diamond turning machine (UP-turning machine) MTC 250 (Micro Turning Center) has a lightweight construction with moving parts, so that the machine axes can be used in dynamic mode (slow tooling). This machine is our standard machine with a minimum footprint, a travel of 250 mm in the X- and Z-axes and a machining range of up to 500 mm in diameter. The MTC 250 has a bed made of T-shaped natural granite. The X- and Z-axis guides and the housing of the spindle are also made of granite. Both guides and the optional B-axis use hydrostatic (oil) bearings. The spindle uses air bearings and is mounted on the X-axis guide.
Features:
Hydrostatic (oil) bearings
Granite bed
Active machine leveling and active vibration isolation system
Form measurement system
Integrated tool measurement system
Process camera
Surface tolerance < 150 nm within 100 mm diameter
Roughness: < 2 nm
